"Bones and All" (2022): A Hidden Masterpiece You Won't Expect. Disguised as Horror, It's a Breathtaking Love Story with an Alluring Soundtrack. Why Did It Go Unnoticed?

Having a deep love for independent films, I strongly believe that these movies need to be heavily supported financially. Unlike other art forms, it's not cheap to create a film. Making a large canvas or a sculpture or writing a book can be done with relatively low budgets. However, when it comes to filmmaking, the costs can be overwhelming, especially for young filmmakers who have a lot of ideas but lack the funds to make them a reality.

As a 30-something architect, I have to admit that the field of architecture has failed everyone. From young architects like myself to the general public, the architecture industry has become all about saving money and cutting corners, even if it means creating ugly and uninspired buildings. This has left many of us feeling unempowered and uninspired.

After months of hard work, I finally wrapped up my micro budget first feature film, "Dr. Concrete" in February. It's been an amazing experience, and I'm thrilled to have finally taken the plunge and embarked on this adventure. In the coming weeks and months, I'll be sharing more about the story behind the film and the philosophy behind the low-budget production.

As a child, I was inspired by a talented Omani ceramic artist, and eventually found my way to ceramic classes. What started as a hobby quickly became a transformative experience, introducing me to a network of supportive and inspiring people, earning me recognition through an art award, and forming lifelong relationships.

The Hatta Honey Bee Discovery Centre was unforgettable. Passionate staff taught us about bees and their importance. Witnessing honey extraction and interacting with the bees left me with a newfound appreciation for their collective behavior. I left with a jar of honey and an idea for a documentary.
