My goal as a sculptor is to constantly push the boundaries of the craft while paying tribute to the diverse traditions of art, incorporating elements of antiquity, primitive art, and fantasy into my work. Some of my sculptures are designed as miniatures, with the possibility of being enlarged to monumental scale kept in mind. I often utilize molds in my work, but each piece is considered a unique individual creation that is not part of a series.

Over the years, I have experimented with many different mediums to make my sculptures, but I find great pleasure in creating ceramic pieces. There is an immediacy to working with ceramics that allows me to move from concept to finished sculpture in a short amount of time, resulting in a piece that has a timeless quality. With every piece I create, I strive to push my artistic boundaries and create a sculpture that evokes emotion and inspires reflection in the viewer.
